LOCAL ATTRACTIONS AND ACTIVITIES
Home to one of the few remaining fishing fleets on the South coast, the historic seaside town of Selsey offers a great range of local shops and restaurants, with many sellers of fresh fish and local Selsey crab.
Visit the new Lifeboat Station (a donation will be much appreciated in return for a look around), and pop into the Potters Cafe for a crab sandwich and a cup of tea, visit the skateboard park, play crazy golf at Jungle Paradise in Hunston, visit the Earnley Butterfly Gardens or experience the Fishbourne Roman Palace & Garden.
BEACHFRONT WALKS
Walks along the beachfront will take you as far as your legs will carry you in the sea breeze, towards the RSPB Nature Reserve at Pagham Harbour to the East and the Medmerry Wetlands to the West, to the delight of nature lovers.
Walks heading inland from the beach can take you to the highly recommended Crab & Lobster pub in Sidlesham Quay. Alternatively, drive down the Selsey Road to Donnington to walk along the Chichester Canal Towpath into the Cathedral City.
BOATING, CYCLING, DIVING
Local trips by boat can be made to try your hand at fishing, or enjoy a leisurely sightseeing cruise along the seafront. Contact Emma Jayne Charters.
Bicycles can be hired in Selsey High Street to see the local area from a different perspective. A gentle pace can be a great way to check out the local sights, or if you want to push your leg muscles, take a longer route over to Bognor Regis or Bracklesham Bay.
If you are interested in diving, you can have an introduction to diving along the Selsey coastline, or experienced divers can choose from one of dozens of wrecks in the local area. Contact Mulberry Divers.

Goodwood hosts many fabulous events throughout the year, from horse racing to motor racing or book a flying experience at the Goodwood Flying School.
In need of a shopping spree? Balance a day out to the retail outlets of Gunwharf Quays with a trip to the historic dockyards of Portsmouth.
FAMILY ENTERTAINMENT
A stone's throw will land you in Bunn Leisure Holiday Park, with access to their funfair, swimming pool, arcade and family friendly beach.
Along the coastline in Bognor Regis is the world famous Butlins Holiday Park, with access to their waterpark, fairground and wide-ranging family entertainment organised by fun-loving Redcoats.
Either a day pass or a wristband can be purchased for the parks for a fun-filled day out with the kids.
